Julie opened my mind to
be able to look at solving problems, business strategies,
and increasing productivity from a number of different
angles.
I found Julie to have a unique ability to test your
mind and think “outside the square” to achieve
a much better overall business and personal performance.
Tony Yelland, Managing Director, A Class
Pavers

During this process I found Julie an enormous help
due to her skill to encourage you to talk about what
you don't understand. Julie will draw you out with her
facilitating skills and you find yourself resolving
your own problems.
A short time after I received a substantial promotion
and with Julie's coaching and mentoring skills I was
able to prepare myself for the new role.
Robert Ryan, Executive General Manager
Works Infrastructure (WA)

Julie Edwards has been involved for the past five years
and during that time been instrumental in the development
of the WAFL Strategic Plan along with assisting the
nine WAFL clubs with their respective business plans.
To achieve this Julie has facilitated numerous ‘think
tank’ forums. As a result of these the WAFL clubs
have been empowered to have ownership of their club’s
future business direction. Her professionalism in all
areas of knowledge relating to strategic planning and
oalong with an extremely friendly and personable approach
has made Julie a very important part of the West Australian
Football league management.
Grant Dorrington BEM,
General Manager West Australian Football League

For the past twelve months our company has had the
pleasure of working with Julie and Ryt of Teamwork in
Action. Their contractual arrangement and purpose with
Simplot has been two fold. First to help individual
managers develop and grow in their expectations of themselves
and their people. Secondly, to familiarise the branch
with the need of building a constant improvement environment
to be effective in a global economy.
Julie and Ryt have a quiet style and an ability to
make people open up to the issues they may be facing.
Their presence is one of non-intimidation, and yet ready
to deal with the toughest of issues. Their presentations
are a blend of fun, hard work and soul searching. Critical
to their success is the hours spent in preparation.
When their work begins, they know your business as well
as you do. They understand your customers, how they
think, how they work, what their expectations include.
For any company trying to introduce change, trying
to get out of the ‘we’ve always done it
this way’ syndrome, I would recommend their services
without hesitation. If you are doing what you did yesterday,
then you are falling behind in this global environment.
There is no one better in understanding and presenting
this than Teamwork in Action.
Julie and Ryt can compete with any training organisations
our company has dealt with throughout the world.
Mike Tunison, Simplot Australia

Ever tried to change a work habit? Procrastinating,
getting to meetings late, never having enough time to
get everything you promised done in a day, working late
to make sure it gets done on time, getting staff to
work the way you’d like them to or doing too much
of the work yourself, letting the paperwork pile up,
forever getting interrupted, having to deal with staff
attitude problems...
I’ve improved the way I work, but my team members
have also improved the way they work. That was a big
unexpected bonus.”
Mike Morris, Executive Director,
Civil Contractors Federation
